GLOBAL POSITION STUDIOS

Veteran producers Sean Furst and Bryan Furst have formed a new global content venture called Global Position Studios (GPS). 

GPS was created to meet an ascending demand for premium local series and feature films by storytellers from across the globe.

GPS produces television series and feature films in key international markets, with projects in production or development on nearly every continent. The company leverages premium genre IP, development funding, creative collaboration, deficit and distribution resources to drive high quality local content aimed at a global audience.

The company recently entered a multi-project development deal with Miramax Television.

Prior to forming GPS, the Fursts served as Co-Presidents of Film and Television at Skybound Entertainment, where they packaged, developed and sold movies and series in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, including the recently launched African Netflix series CLASSIFIED. Their additional credits include Universal Pictures feature film RENFIELD, the Golden Globe®-Award nominated feature THE MATADOR, Oscar®-nominated feature THE COOLER, Showtime comedy series DICE, and CW sci-fi series STAR CROSSED.
